This Forum is Dedicated For all The Object Oriented PIC Lovers .......... The concept behind OOPic is straight forward. Use preprogrammed multitasking Objects from a library of highly optimized Objects to do all the work of interacting with the hardware. Then write small scripts in Basic, C, or Java syntax styles to control the Objects. During operation, the Objects run continuously and simultaneously in the background while the scripts run in the foreground telling the objects what to do.

[oopic] Re: Roboteq motor controller.

I've done a lot of research and interesting readings in the last days.
After all i think the best solution is this:
http://www.cubloc.com/product/01_01cb405.php
<http://www.cubloc.com/product/01_01cb405.php>
It has 4 hardware usart, it's based on the new atmega 2560 and has a
total of 64 i/o lines.
It has 200Kb of program ram and doesn't require an external programmer.
I'm sad for the lost opportunity to use oopic: i'm not an expert
programmer so the Object Oriented language would be a great help. Cubloc
has an easy but powerfull basic language, so it should be not tood
difficult to understand.

What do you think of this micro? Will it be fast and powerfull enought
for my application?
