This is a known bug in the V6 compiler that makes events not work with
the C.1.1+ ooPIC. (I am sure someone else will reply to you as well.)
Look back through the archives over the past month for more
information. There is a workaround that involves patching the code
from the compiler once it gets downloaded to EEPROM. If you have to
make it work by Monday then that sounds like your only option.
