Thanks Richard for the reply. I tried what was suggested for cosmic
wedgie, which meant taking out of the EEPOM thing, but the error
message "Error Message: ooPIC at Serial Node 0: Did not respond"
still came out.
After that then i tried changing to another PIC chip that i have a
PIC16F877 with the bootloader preloaded when i bought it. This time
the hyperterminal was able to detect something and was outputing
something. Whereas for the ooPIC there wasn't anything even at the
hyperterminal.
Any idea what could be wrong?
I am using USB to Serial Cable at COM Port 5
Using IDE 6 operating Windows XP
*I can't type anything on the Hyperterminal*
(If you set Hyperterminal for 9600,n,8,1 NO FLOW CONTROL and type
\0V {backslash zero upper case V}
you should get a reply of lower case v)
so i got no replies.
It worked perfectly well before i loaded the program with the
Dim PIC As New oOperatingsystem
*However, if you have already downloaded a program and the OOPic is
jammed up ("cosmic wedgie"), turn the board off, remove the EEPROM and
power up. Try to download a program. You will get a dialog telling
you to reinsert the EEPROM (don't get it backwards!). Do this and
then acknowledge the dialog. Try to download again.*
This message didn't came out. Instead the Error Message came out?
Anyone know what could be wrong? >.< Could i have done something
wrong?
Thanks alot for any help rendered.
Regards,
Minghui
