This Forum is Dedicated For all The Object Oriented PIC Lovers .......... The concept behind OOPic is straight forward. Use preprogrammed multitasking Objects from a library of highly optimized Objects to do all the work of interacting with the hardware. Then write small scripts in Basic, C, or Java syntax styles to control the Objects. During operation, the Objects run continuously and simultaneously in the background while the scripts run in the foreground telling the objects what to do.

[oopic] Looking for a way to start my project.

Hi, I am a student and I would like to start a microcontroller project
as a hobbies. I think that oopic would be a good place to start as I
can already program in java and basic. I have a little electronics
experience from physics and mechanical engineering at college.

The project I have in mind involves rotating something very small very
quickly and accurately, possibly with electromagnets but most probably
with stepper motors.

Which oopic package would be best for me? I would like to customize and
try other projects in the future. I was also wondering if you can
interface and control the circuit live with the PC.

Thanks for your time.
