This Forum is Dedicated For all The Object Oriented PIC Lovers .......... The concept behind OOPic is straight forward. Use preprogrammed multitasking Objects from a library of highly optimized Objects to do all the work of interacting with the hardware. Then write small scripts in Basic, C, or Java syntax styles to control the Objects. During operation, the Objects run continuously and simultaneously in the background while the scripts run in the foreground telling the objects what to do.

Yes. That is precisely how my student did her voice-operated MarkIII.
She just used a laptop to generate the control codes and a bluetooth
transceiver to send the data to the serial port on the ooPIC.

That way will work just fine.

BTW, I suspect my kids would be interested in collaborating with
students in other schools. Our school is pretty small. I have only 20
students in the 5th-8th grades. So if you want to bounce ideas off of
my kids I am sure they would be interested.

BTW, the Internet makes collaboration pretty easy. We could even move
telemetry across the Internet and distribute the processing that way.

(My students are also getting their ham radio licenses so they can do
more with wireless control and telemetry.)
