Thanks for the information, That is great. Now, what pins on the Pololu serial adapter would goto the programming conn. on the OOpic S board. I can take a good guess on the 5 volt and gnd but as far as the communication lines I am alittle confused. Thanks again.

The other way is to use an RS232 level shifter to convert between TTL
and RS232 levels http://www.pololu.com/products/pololu/0126/ and then
a USB->Serial cable

I haven't tried the acroname gadget but I suspect it will work fine.
You will need to use Device Manager to change the COM port to <= 4 if
you are using V5 of the IDE.
If you use the acroname gadget, post back about your results.
