[oopic] Re: Savage Innovations / Compiler / ooBug and etc.. UPDATE

Yeah, I've sold ooPIC products for seven years now and pretty much
got dropped like a hot potato. Now I've gone from robotics to custom
designed adult size hula hoops at www.yourhoop.com (it's not robotics
but ya do what ya gotta do!). I had worked countless unpaid hours
creating the ooBUG website, packaging design and an educational
curriculum...when overnight, Savage began selling their own stuff
essentially putting me out of business and this Ted decided HE would
be handling the packaging, graphic design (they're still using quite
a bit of my stuff but you can tell Ted's work easily - HELLO 1986!)
and curriculum even though at their request, I had been working on a
curriculum for the ooBug for a couple of months(after asking me for a
copy of the one I had just written for a Game Baord that Savage came
out with and never marketed because they decided they'd rather work
on ooBug stuff. )

For years I've been told by customers that they bought from ME
because they at least knew they'd get good customer service. The new
Savage model will be interesting.
