This Forum is Dedicated For all The Object Oriented PIC Lovers .......... The concept behind OOPic is straight forward. Use preprogrammed multitasking Objects from a library of highly optimized Objects to do all the work of interacting with the hardware. Then write small scripts in Basic, C, or Java syntax styles to control the Objects. During operation, the Objects run continuously and simultaneously in the background while the scripts run in the foreground telling the objects what to do.

Re: [oopic] On debugging again

With an OOPic R, it's a simple matter of connecting a straight cable
(only TX, RX and ground are required) between the PC serial port and
the R's DB9 connector. I've had no problems using a few USB to
serial converters with the R's.

For models that don't have an RS232 <--> TTL converter built in, one
has to be wedged between the serial cable and the OOPic.

Can't help you much with parallel operations as I've never had to go
that route. Others will chime in.
