This Forum is Dedicated For all The Object Oriented PIC Lovers .......... The concept behind OOPic is straight forward. Use preprogrammed multitasking Objects from a library of highly optimized Objects to do all the work of interacting with the hardware. Then write small scripts in Basic, C, or Java syntax styles to control the Objects. During operation, the Objects run continuously and simultaneously in the background while the scripts run in the foreground telling the objects what to do.

[oopic] oopic-r serial connection trouble

when I go to Tools/Cable Configuration, and i press "find serial
calbe", the computer doesnt recognize the oopic-r board connected to
the computer through a real serial cable. I already downloaded and
installed the oopic_6 Compiler and the DLPortIO since I have Windows
XP. the power on the oopic-r board I on, and I have also check if the
power in the 16 I/O lines is OK, and it is(regulated 4.03V). The only
think I dont understand is the business regardin the EEPROM, what is
that? it is important to communicate with the oopi-r? I would really
apriciate help in this matter.

thank you

Alejandro
