Res: [oopic] IR QRB1134 Sensor

Hi,

Does anybody knows what pins 16 and 17 in ooPIC-S board do? They mention "RC0 - Timer 1 Xtal" for pin 16, but I have no idea what this means.

Is there any kind of problem if I connect an IR QRB1134 Sensor (for wheel encoder) to one of these pins? Can I damage my ooPIC or my sensor?
