This Forum is Dedicated For all The Object Oriented PIC Lovers .......... The concept behind OOPic is straight forward. Use preprogrammed multitasking Objects from a library of highly optimized Objects to do all the work of interacting with the hardware. Then write small scripts in Basic, C, or Java syntax styles to control the Objects. During operation, the Objects run continuously and simultaneously in the background while the scripts run in the foreground telling the objects what to do.

[oopic] Re: Serial Program Cable for ooPIC-S

Two other free tidbits: ALWAYS put OOPic.delay = 500 as the first
executable statement of your program. If you don't you will
eventually have a 'cosmic wedgie' problem and not be able to reprogram
your OOPic without yanking the EEPROM. Yes, the 5 second delay is a
PITA. It's just a cost of doing business with the OOPic.

Second, consider putting 330 ohm resistors in series with ALL IOLines
when they leave the board. This shouldn't degrade the signals by very
much but it will provide a lot of protection to the OOPic.
