[oopic] oIOLINE's 'PULSEOUT' Property

I'm looking for a little explanation on how the 'pulseout' property of
the oIOLINE object works. Is it a one-time pulse or is used as a train
of pulses? Also, what's the deal with 'Duration ON' and 'Duration OFF'?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
