This Forum is Dedicated For all The Object Oriented PIC Lovers .......... The concept behind OOPic is straight forward. Use preprogrammed multitasking Objects from a library of highly optimized Objects to do all the work of interacting with the hardware. Then write small scripts in Basic, C, or Java syntax styles to control the Objects. During operation, the Objects run continuously and simultaneously in the background while the scripts run in the foreground telling the objects what to do.

Re: [oopic] Re: New range finder needed

In you note you said that you are using the Ping Sonar from Parallax. I
bought one of those from Radio Shack thinking I could use it with my OOpic. When
I looked at it it says that the signal and response both come back on the
same IO line. I could not get that to work with the oopic.

Could you please send/post your code to control this so that I can use my
Ping with my OOpic.

I saw that someone posted code to do this but it uses oEvents that currently
does not work with the C.6.1.1 compiler
