I have spent the last two decades on the software side of things, and am
just getting into electronics. I have no need to get fancy, but I do need to
get reasonably accurate readings on objects up to about 3m away. What you
have suggested sounds plausible, but I'd have to hear more or read more
about the detector, and the circuit is certainly beyond anything I have ever
done, from the sound of it. Is there a place I can go to learn more about
it, or would you care to explain it a bit more?
