I assume you have an OOPic S board. The B.2.2+ just indicates the
firmware version, the board which could be S, R or C-module.

In any event, on the S board there are 2 connectors that the cable
will fit. The one near the power inlet is correct.

Some IBM Thinkpads don't have a proper parallel port. There is file
'activeCable.jpg' in the files section that addresses this.

If you have installed Port95NT.exe if required (see
www.oopic.com/dloadp.html) and there is power to the board (check the
5V power on pins 2 (ground) and 4 (+5) of the programming header),
programming should work easily because the cable connects directly to
the E0 EEPROM.

I don't know which version of the IDE you are using but you might try
V5. I have never done parallel programming with V6 and have done very
little with V5. Given the B.2.2+ chip, you are far better off doing
serial programming.

If you have the S board, you need to add a level shifter to IOLines 22
and 23 (pins 37 & 39 on the header). Try

may also work but I haven't tried it
