Re: [oopic] Re: SerLCD1 (Kronos Robotics) With OOPic-R

This sounds like your display contrast is set too high - This could make
every character just be a black square. Also, remember the weirdness of
an LCD display. In reality there are only two lines in the display.
When you exceed the character count on line one then you roll over onto
line three, when you exceed the character count on line two you rollover
onto line four. And really if you just keep sending characters you will
fill line 1, then 3, then 2 and then 4.

It does look like those first two numbers are binary, but they don't
explicitly say that in their docs.
