This Forum is Dedicated For all The Object Oriented PIC Lovers .......... The concept behind OOPic is straight forward. Use preprogrammed multitasking Objects from a library of highly optimized Objects to do all the work of interacting with the hardware. Then write small scripts in Basic, C, or Java syntax styles to control the Objects. During operation, the Objects run continuously and simultaneously in the background while the scripts run in the foreground telling the objects what to do.

Re: [oopic] events again

I am a little confused by what you said about my wiring. I probably just
don't understand something. Tell me if I understand this correctly. At the
bottom of the oSWITCH object manual page is a diagram for how to hook up a switch.
That is how my switch is hooked up. if I pull the 5 volt ext pwr from the
board then I have done the same as flipping that switch to the off position.
The signal line is no longer connected to 5 volt but is connected to the
ground through the resistor.
Also When I run this program the 'resetting', that is the red led
blinking over and over, that we talked about happens even if I have no other wires
hooked to the oopic. Just running this program makes it 'reset'.
