Since you can get 800-1000mAH packs for $15 or so, this is MOST

Somehow, they manage to stuff 2500 mAH into NiMH AA cells these days,
so you get 2X to 3X as much energy as yours, for the 7.2v pack.
Also, 6/ea NiMH AA cost $15. But you must have a lot cheaper source
than shown here.

The NiMH do appear to lose out on the weight issue however, 6-oz
versus 2-oz.
