This Forum is Dedicated For all The Object Oriented PIC Lovers .......... The concept behind OOPic is straight forward. Use preprogrammed multitasking Objects from a library of highly optimized Objects to do all the work of interacting with the hardware. Then write small scripts in Basic, C, or Java syntax styles to control the Objects. During operation, the Objects run continuously and simultaneously in the background while the scripts run in the foreground telling the objects what to do.

[oopic] Re: Motor Alternate Power Source

Well, I have no idea how, but the OOPic is dead and so are two of my
motors (the two that smoked). I realize it should only be 9V, which is
why I was freaked out when it was reading 24... I'm going to try using
just 4 AAs to be safe (should be 6v, right?). But I have to replace
the OOPic. I think I killed the voltage regulator a while back when
two of the wires accidentally got crossed. Perhaps this allowed for
the motors to get passed too much power and overheat?
