[oopic] OOPic-R and Total Robotics GPS

I am having some problems interfacing the DS-GPM-GPS from total robotics with an OOPic-R. I have a 9V battery powering the OOPic-R and a 9V battery powering the GPS module. I have connected the I2C input from the GPS module to the PRG port on the OOPic-R. I have downloaded some sample code from the datasheet and the OOPic Version 6 compiler shows no errors. I do not know what to do as of now. Please help if you can.
