This Forum is Dedicated For all The Object Oriented PIC Lovers .......... The concept behind OOPic is straight forward. Use preprogrammed multitasking Objects from a library of highly optimized Objects to do all the work of interacting with the hardware. Then write small scripts in Basic, C, or Java syntax styles to control the Objects. During operation, the Objects run continuously and simultaneously in the background while the scripts run in the foreground telling the objects what to do.

[oopic] Not a good start

Hello All
Thanks for your answers so far. Since my last post I've downloaded and
am using the ver 6 compiler on XP with an older OOPic A.2.0. I've
changed to the correct device setting but when I attempt to find the
parallel cable in the cable config I run into an error "Internal error
in PortInp of I2CFuncs". I get the same error using a ver B.1.0 OOpic
as well. I also get the error if I manually enter the correct hex
value of the port I'm using as well. Is this a problem with the PC or
should I just get a new OOPic? TIA. Mike.
