Anything you want to do with vision will need to be off board. So
look into roborealm because it is an elegant (and free) vision
package that can handle images from USB or RF (via a hardware
attachment). There are functions for floor finding (looking for the
intersection with a wall) as well as MANY other functions.

It is a terrific package.
