This Forum is Dedicated For all The Object Oriented PIC Lovers .......... The concept behind OOPic is straight forward. Use preprogrammed multitasking Objects from a library of highly optimized Objects to do all the work of interacting with the hardware. Then write small scripts in Basic, C, or Java syntax styles to control the Objects. During operation, the Objects run continuously and simultaneously in the background while the scripts run in the foreground telling the objects what to do.

You can get a hint by reading the Microchip 16F877 datasheet and
adding something for the EEPROM. It won't be much. A better
solution is to measure it. A digital volt meter will have current
measuring capability.

It doesn't matter how much power the OOPic takes, that little TO-92
regulator is really not capable of supplying much to other circuits.
MANY, MANY (did I say MANY?) folks have written in that they fried
the voltage regulator. You CAN replace it with a TO-220 version like
the 7805 (and add a heatsink), I suppose, but you will be better
served to provide a separate regulator for off-board devices. Just
make sure that both supplies have a common ground connection.
