[oopic] Re: Basic electrical calculations...

Thanks for answering that fast.
I know that this forum is for the OOPic and I have used it for this
purpose many times adn therefor prefer to use this forum, since I know
that there's a lot of bright brains in here:)

Actually, I don't need any resistor. I'm just helping one of my
friends with a test at school, so the circuit will never be made. The
question in the test sounded like this: If you put the following bulbs
in series will you just add the amount of watts together and get a
result of 50 watts?.

a: 10 watts
b: 10 watts
c: 5 watts
d: 5 watts
e: 20 watts

After reading your response I have now concluded that the answer is no.

I just rephrased the question and wanted the explanation for the
result myself.
